CSDD Integration in Mapon platform

Region-specific solution - Latvia

The CSDD integration into the Mapon platform is a powerful tool designed to streamline the management of your fleet information for vehicles registered in Latvia.

The integration automatically synchronizes information on OCTA and technical inspection dates from the CSDD database.

This article provides a guide on how the integration works, what steps are crucial for its functionality, and what details you need to take into account to keep the data displayed on the platform up-to-date.

How does it work?

For the integration to work smoothly, the correct vehicle registration certificate number must be added to the vehicle profile.
Once this information is saved, the data will be updated by CSDD within 15 minutes.

Note! Synchronized information cannot be deleted or changed.

Automatic data requests to the CSDD occur in the following cases:

  • If the vehicle registration certificate number is indicated in the vehicle profile.
  • If the vehicle license plate or registration certificate number is changed.

The data is not automatically requested in the following cases:

  • The initial data request was unsuccessful due to an incorrect license plate or registration certificate number.
  • Requests are not made for non-equipped vehicles that have been added to the platform as historic vehicles.

Automatic data requests are activated before and after the vehicle's technical inspection and OCTA deadlines:

  • First request: 3 days before the expiry of the OCTA and the vehicle technical inspection.
  • Second request: 1 day before the expiry of the OCTA and the vehicle technical inspection.
  • Third request: 1 day after the expiry of the OCTA and the vehicle technical inspection.
  • Fourth request: 3 days after the expiry of the OCTA and the vehicle technical inspection.
  • Fifth request: 7 days after the end of the OCTA and the vehicle technical inspection.
  • Sixth request: 14 days after the end of the OCTA and the vehicle technical inspection.

Note! If new dates for the OCTA and vehicle technical inspection are received in one of the above steps, the other steps are not performed and the new dates are displayed on the platform.

Information to remember:

  • The validity period of an OCTA policy can vary from 1 to 12 months.
  • The period of the roadworthiness test can be 30 days, 6 months, 12 months or 24 months.
  • Vehicle passports can contain 2+7 or 3+6 letter and number combinations.
